Precautions Treatment conducted usually in hospital (often in intensive care unit); also given in lower dosage as outpatient. Multidisciplinary team oversees all aspects of administration. Complex and continuous monitoring, clinical evaluation, and laboratoryheray studies are needed to minimize risk of therapy.
Side Effects Many adverse effects: leakage of fluid from small blood vessels, low blood pressure, rapid heartbeat, edema, weight gain, shortness of breath, cough, temporary kidney impairment, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, sore mouth, neurologic changes, disorientation, decreased blood counts, abnormal liver tests, hair loss, rash, itching, fatigue, fever, chills, muscle aching
